On November 24, the five-day 2020 Zhejiang Agricultural Expo successfully concluded. This year’s expo, themed “High-Quality Supply for High-Level Prosperity,” combined online and offline activities, including exhibitions of agricultural and rural development achievements, showcases of premium agricultural products, trade negotiations, and brand promotion events.

The offline expo was held at the New Rural Expo Center. The central exhibition area highlighted Zhejiang’s achievements in agricultural and rural development during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, showcasing milestones in grain security, pig production, digital “Three Rural” (agriculture, rural areas, farmers), smart fisheries, precision poverty alleviation, and agricultural automation.

The Digital Agriculture Pavilion, themed “Digital Agriculture, Precision Empowerment,” presented Zhejiang’s advancements under the “151” framework: one collaborative digital agriculture platform, five core business domains, and one “Zhejiang Agriculture Code.” Among the highlights, the digital tea garden—guided by the Zhejiang Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department and developed by Yunhe—utilized technologies like low-altitude remote sensing, artificial intelligence, robotics, VR, and IoT. These innovations facilitated end-to-end digitalization in tea planting, garden management, tourism, tea ceremony demonstrations, and livestream sales, improving efficiency and boosting economic returns for tea enterprises.

The integration of IoT and low-altitude remote sensing for intelligent tea garden production, VR glasses with cycling simulators for a tea garden biking journey, and the combination of the heritage “Jingshan Tea Whisking” technique with intelligent robots for tea ceremonies attracted numerous visitors.

Most notably, during the event, Zhejiang Governor Zheng Zhajie and other provincial leaders visited Yunhe. They expressed concern for Yunhe’s development and affirmed its mission of building intelligent and digital new rural areas.
